Quantcore Awarded Institute of Physics 2026 qBIG Prize

Quantcore has won the Institute of Physics (IOP)’s major innovation award, the qBIG Prize.
Recognising breakthroughs in the commercialisation of quantum technologies, the award concluded the first day of the Economist’s Commercialising Quantum 2026 event in London.
CEO Jack Brennan said: “I’m delighted we’ve won the qBig prize this year. The previous winners are great examples of up-and-coming quantum companies, and it’s a privilege to be part of that list.
“A big thank you to the qBIG group for choosing Quantcore, and a huge thanks to my fantastic team for working so hard to build the company.”
The qBIG prize, awarded by the IOP’s quantum Business Innovation and Growth group, celebrates innovation and real-world commercialisation in quantum technologies. The award is supported by venture capital fund Quantum Exponential, and includes £10,000 in funding, mentoring, and additional business support.
